Strategy, Science
and Solutions – since 1990
Your needs and organization are unique. And so is my strategy to address your concerns. While your needs are different, my experience with over 400 clients means I am probably familiar with your industry and issues. Assisting organizations in size from 40 to 40,000 employees means I can scale the approach to match your needs.
You want dependable answers. Strong science is the basis of my work.
My PhD in Public Health defines what I do: protect the health of workers and the community. As a Certified Industrial Hygienist, I have specific expertise in the evaluation of chemical hazards. As a graduate school instructor for almost 30 years, I keep current on health risks and control methods.
You need an approach that fits with your organization. As the former corporate head of safety and industrial hygiene for ComEd, I know how to develop practical solutions for both large and small organizations, like:
|
Conducting extensive research and providing testimony for plaintiff and defense clients on OSHA compliance, workplace accidents, and occupational and environmental exposures. Some recent topics: confined spaces, respiratory disease-related chemicals, lung and bladder carcinogens, asbestos, manganese, silica.
|
Guiding a manufacturer from a history of repeat and willful OSHA citations into a self-managed and sustainable safety compliance program (and helping many others with OSHA compliance matters) |
Evaluating region-wide environmental exposure issues, developing response strategies, and communicating risks and control measures in public meetings
Developing a web-based safety/training management process (since 2003). See: www.prototrack.com |
Providing ongoing safety and industrial hygiene management guidance for a major research university (and many project-specific solutions for many colleges and school districts) |
